I thought I had a female/immature male Rufous or Allen's a couple weeks ago but didn't get a good enough angle to determine it. I finally decided it was wishful thinking. And then this one showed itself today. The picture also isn't great but is better than the last one. This is either not the same bird or has matured some.

It seemed more skittish than the rubies and very curious to check us out thoroughly.
