We had a cold front here in NW Iowa a few days ago, also first decent rain in a long time. Since then I haven't seen a monarch. Goldfinches and hummingbirds moved on. Had Baltimore Orioles for a week then left also. Robins mostly left. Early Fall? Enjoy watching the monarchs gather but not sure we will get to see it this year. We had the most milkweed since we bought the acreage in 2014 so that was great. Go Monarchs!
