Around 4 PM I wake across our road to check for monarchs. It is a wonderfully huge hill field filled with golden are and purple aster here and their for highlights.

I finally saw two, flitting around quickly from flower to flower. Too fast for photo taking.

It was around 60 degrees F and sunny!

I will keep checking this field during the migration.
