Summer vacation over?

Seems the morning koffee klatch of the past couple weeks in pic is gone this morning. Down from about 4 dozen birds, to 12. Very little activity this morning, rather unusual. Still about a dozen mature ones, 2/3 males, still fueling up I reckon, taking very long drinks at feeders.

Weather has been cool and rainy past week, broke up Fri afternoon, 9/11. Today bright, sunny, clear and cool for Dallas area this time of year. No breeze. Much of Central and South TX had good rain this week after a long hot dry spell.
