The weather was threatening looking with dark clouds, so I stayed around my house and saw no monarchs all day. However, my friend (Larry) was able to see one monarch at his house that borders the town to the northwest in the AM, and he saw 5 at the 3rd Street walkway in town on a butterfly bush in the early PM. Finally, just before it rained at 5 PM, he saw one at 3rd and Jackson Streets. Weather was cloudy with rain at 5 PM; the Wind was SE-9-11 mph, and the Temperature topped out at 65F.
