Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/15/2020

Number: 1

A rather large female stopped to get nectar from a window feeder. She may have been attracted to the Salvia a foot or two away. She's a "fly through," as she wasn't part of our regulars this summer. In 2019, we had the last observed activity on 9/11 and 9/12. I believe this female is the largest I've seen ever. I always feel like the late visitors are a very special gift!
