Between 10:45 and 12:45, I counted 21 monarchs. The temperature started out at 69 and climbed to 75 by 12:45. The wind was SW at 9 mi/ hr. The monarchs trickled in, one at a time. All the monarchs I saw were about 20 feet off the ground and stopping in my garden to fuel up, mainly on my tithonia. They spent quite a while eating and resting. Then they headed SW.
