Hummingbird, Other Observations

Date: 09/17/2020

Number: 2

After only having one juvenile ruby throat hummingbird coming to my feeders yesterday, I spotted two hummers this morning. Couldn't tell if they were females or juveniles because of the pouring rain. They were still here in the early afternoon, quarreling over the feeders. But by late afternoon there was no sign of them, and that is the time of day when they would be fueling up for the night. Seems they may be leaving early this year.
