I hadn't seen any hummingbirds since Tuesday, the 15th and that one was nectering on what's left of a Rose of Sharon bush and I had given up on seeing any at my feeder BUT this morning a pleasant surprise as one came to my feeder shortly after sunrise around 7:40! A few minutes later she, or another separate one came to feed as well. Temps will dip into the upper 30's here tonight (9/18) so that might urge some to start to move further south...who knows. This is early for such a cold temperature at night here. It is suppose to warm back up next week tho so it will be interesting to see what activity I get then. I always leave my feeder up until at least mid-October.
