Number: 1

This golden rod and aster field is just across the road from where I live. It is huge! Many many football fields in size!

The golden rod and New England asters are at peak right now.

Today I saw a number honey bees foraging, but no monarchs, yet!

It was breezy, coming from the NW made it chilly. However, the wind direction was perfect for monarchs heading to Mexico.

I did release one of my native monarchs today - a male on my property and next to plenty of golden rod and asters.
