A total of 7 monarchs born in my garden today were tagged today. One monarch I did not tag today because its hind wing was damaged during metamorphosis. Another monarch born today I missed tagging it flew up from the shrubs high into the trees. Another I observed flying around in the back yard, I was able to catch it while nectaring, it was one I tagged on 12 September born in my garden.
