At the Tip at Point Pelee National Park The hour before 7:33 sunset. 13�with N wind@ 29/51kmh. 9�c upon departure. Frost warnings for Michigan & Ohio & east. Overnight low of 3�c for us...no frost warning here.
Observed only 1 monarch settled on Hackberry branch on east side of Tip. Seen from shoreline. It had very wrinkled wings. All others seen were in flight. 2 days ago a cold front arrived.
2 favourable days with north wind for monarchs to continue their journey south.
