We saw @20 monarchs stop in for fuel September 14-17 at our monarch waystation/patch prairie. Probably were more when we weren‘t paying attention. Things have tapered off and we haven‘t seen any in the last couple of days.
They especially were attracted to our Mexican sunflower patches. I was able to tag 5 of them, though they seemed less than amused.
