Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/19/2020

Number: 6

Must have lost 2 ruby throats to migration. Only counted 6 today compared to 8 the last few days. There are 3 really plump females here. The others are small females or immatures.

Feeding pattern is the same. The hummers chase insects and nectar on flowers during the day and hit the nectar feeders late evening. Highs have been in 60's and lows in 40's.

Late nectaring immature left the yard for the evening at 7:29. 0nly a couple weeks left now before all the hummer are gone,
