While watching hummingbirds this morning, at 9:30 one monarch flew within a few inches of a hummer at the feeder, then continued its journey southwest. Then between 11:05 and 11:25 am, 7 more monarchs in flight from northeast going southwest, 1 stopped to nectar on sedum. Light ssw breeze, 7-9 mph, 73 degrees hazy sun. After a hiatus of several days, good to see more passing through!
