Ruby throat hummingbird on clothesline for more than 5min resting then cleaning its beak & preening its feathers. Had just been at 2 hanging baskets of vermillionare which seem to be the favorite flower past few days. A very chubby female was seen there 3days ago but appears to be gone now. Also see single hummer at nectar feeders am to dusk. Temp has warmed to near 70�, sunny, light breeze.
