Captive reared monarch raised from egg on giant milkweed leaf in net enclosure on screened porch. Emerged from chrysalis 7:30 AM and was released the same day.

Pictured perched on sky vine aka clock vine. Stayed 1 minute then flew away. Both captive reared monarchs today were larger than the 3 wild grown ones that emerged from chrysalides today.
