I saw 5 larva in various stages of development. (Full size, medium, small), One medium was dead on a milkweed leaf. 2 chrysalis observed this week were gone presumably flown. The milkweed patch is too large to explore and observe each plant. Odd year for milkweed because there was a late freeze in May which burnt the sprouts and there are not as many seed pods this year.
