The Lancaster, KS roost that I've been documenting the last couple of days was still there this morning...The temperature at 9am was 59 degrees with a slight south breeze & the skies were hazy/partly cloudy...There were less Monarchs there this morning (450) compared to the last couple of days & they were concentrated in two trees, 1 mulberry & 1 elm...By 10am, they were moving southwest after they got warmed up! Local Maximilian Sunflowers are still their nectar of chose!...NC
