Saw this "stranger" on a flower today. We're released 25 Monarchs thus far this summer with probably 25-30 chrysalides yet to hatch. What's different now is that when we release some they do not hang around the yard like they did mid summer but rather leave generally flying in a southern direction. Hard to find any caterpillars now on our 80 or so tropical milkweed plants. Any found now are generally large ones ready to make a chrysalis.
