Have been seeing just 1 Monarch adult at a time off and on in our backyard since the end of July. Even though they are considered non-native invasive plants, the butterflies usually are found on the Butterfly Shrubs. Unfortunately a few days after I photographed this Monarch, I found one forewing lying on the ground near a different Butterfly Shrub.
