Three ruby throated hummers were fighting over one feeder so I put out 2 more. Each claimed one & guarded their respective feeders. They taunt each other flying by the other feeders but then go back to their own. This has been going on for 3 days. Yesterday feeder #2 left & hasn't returned. Today # 1 & 3 stayed close to their feeder perched on nearby trellis for much of the day. Some zinnia & mexican sunflowers are nearby but they don't seem very interested. They are getting quite plump at the feeders. We were impacted by hurricane Sally & flowers may not be appealing.
