Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/17/2020

Number: 12

Directional Flight, 1255pm, sunny, 55°, light breeze, all were flying north to south. In a small area of about 300 ft the Adult Monarchs were coming out of the dense mature grove of Cedar trees on the northside of M134 flying southernly, it was like being in a fairytale. We also saw a Sharp shinned Hawk come thru the Cedars, perch at the top of a Cedar, then take flight heading west. There was road construction, we had to stop and was glad we got to see all the Monarchs.
