8:57am 62 degrees, sunny and wind at 3 MPH, SSE. A monarch swooped into the garden went first to the New England Aster and then found the one fresh Meadow Blazing Star. It fed for about 15 minutes and headed out due south. The temps will reach the low 80s today. Well above average for this time of year.
