Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/23/2020

Number: 500

Peak seems to be past us now but we still have hundreds of Monarchs here at Konza Prairie Biological Station. They are nectaring on Rigid Goldenrod and Blue Pitcher Sage and roosting on various trees in protected draws. We saw at least 500, but that's down from the thousands that were present on the 19th and 20th.
