I saw one female about 8 AM this morning at the feeder near our back porch. Later in the afternoon while I was in the garden watering the flowers, there were two plump females actively feeding ( when not chasing each other) on the zinnias, verbena bonariensis, salvias and other blooms. I will continue keeping the feeders fresh with nectar. During the troubled times we continue to live in, nature still gives us hope for healing in the months to come.
