I had just put my camera away when a juvenile male landed on the feeder near the front porch. He spent several minutes on the feeder resting and drinking deeply, then flew off to a nearby tree. He returned to the same feeder about five minutes later, spent a few more minutes sitting and drinking, then flew off. No further sightings of him since. I believe this was likely a migrant, since the males that were here all summer have not been seen since 9/11.
