Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/25/2020

Number: 5

5 ruby throated females/immature hummers have hung on for another day. Lost 2 to migration today. Kind of surprised to see 5 today. The hummers mostly perched today. There seemed to be more feeding on insects than nectaring on flowers and feeders. Hi temp was high 70s or low 80s. Quitting time was 7:09 p..m. So the count down to end of the season draws nigh.
