Observation time was from 6:15pm till 7:45pm. All three hummers were females and appeared to be southward migrating adults as they were leery to stay at the feeders for any amount of time. A fourth hummer nearby was heard but not seen. A tall slender one came in to our most northern patio feeder four times between 6:18pm and 6:25pm retreating to a stand of dense evergreens to the east. A second, plump female made five trips to our most southern patio feeder between 6:28pm to 6:55pm before flying southward toward our backyard hedgerow. the third female, also slender, made three trips to our south patio feeder between 7:09pm and 7:22pm eventually flying into a nearby tree. no other hummers were sighted until I went inside at 7:45pm. temperatures during observation was 76 degrees and expected to drop to 52 degrees overnight. wind was out of the west at 5mph under cloudy overcast skies.
