Went back to the spot where I found monarchs in transit southward to see if I could find a roost, and I found they were as spread out as the roosters I reported at Dillingham Garden earlier. The one in this report were definitely all migrators given the absence of nectar and host plants & they weren't aiming for the Dillingham Garden, which is nearby. They were following the railroad, so this is an actual migration roost.
