First one sighted just before 11am at Stony Kill's Verplanck Memorial Garden. Nectaring on Butterfly Bush. Another showed up before noon. First took flight to the south 8-10' off the ground. 2nd followed short while later, also flying low and over a field where I lost it. By 1:30pm, 4 additional brightly colored monarchs appeared. I left them at 2pm while they were nectaring on butterfly bushes.
