Ten monarchs born wild in my gardens. Friday night 9-25-2020 a very severe localized hail storm hit. I lost several adult butterflies born wild that day in my gardens. I also lost at least 3-4 chrysalis that were destroyed from the quarter size hail. I saved 7 chrysalis that were knocked down to the ground from the hail storm. I taped the chrysalis back up on solid structure so they can successfully metamorphosis from larvae into adult butterflies.
