A strong cold front moved through on the evening of 09/27/2020. Since then we've been seeing several butterflies an hour. The most I counted today (09/29/2020) was 10.
Since a very heavy rain event over the first week of September we now have abundant flower blossoms.
Rather troubling is a lack of other insects that we would usually be seeing this time of year. Very few other butterflies, bees, or moths!
