Observed 25 monarchs at Rick Evans Grandview Prairie near Columbus, AR today. Some were nectaring on wildflowers that are in bloom, but the majority of them were flying in a south to southwest direction. We usually see the big part of the migration about the second week of October - hopefully they will show up in large numbers.
