Many clusters coming together on the pecan & cedar elms along the San Saba River.

The first sightings were at sunset September 29. We went out the next evening ( September 30) & found some roosts. Left town the next day so uncertain how long they stayed.

The butterflies were clustered in groups of 15-30 +With clusters in trees along the river.

We have very little nectar plants this year. A little frost weed but not like normal.
