This female fell shortly after eclosing. Raised outside in a mesh enclosure. After testing negative for OE, I made my first attempt to splint bent wings with card stock. She had been unable to fly. After eating some watermelon she flew up to the top of a dogwood tree, rested a bit and then proceeded in a southerly direction!
