Last night our remaining two hummingbirds were active right past dusk. This morning, there is an eerie quiet out in the yard at my feeders, as well as the feeders of three of my neighbors. It is, indeed, a good day to head south, ahead of a cold front and on a sunny, calm day. Fly safely little friends, vaya con Dios. Our feeders remain up through October 8 for tardy commuters. Till next Spring birder friends. Thanks to Journey North for this wonderful place.
