Stayed for about an hour in the Verplanck Garden beginning around 12:40. When I first arrived there were 4, one or 2 would leave then another would appear. All of them would by-pass the goldenrod choosing instead to nectar on either Butterfly Bush or NE Aster.
I watched (9) of them leave the garden flying low southward across a large hay field. I left while (2) were nectaring on NE Aster. While walking away, I watched (1) more arrive in the garden from the north side.
