Not sure to call this "peak migration" yet. We have seen a marked increase in the number of monarchs since yesterday (10/2). The number reported is an estimate of the number seen just in our yard area in about a 5 minute observation. We have a large number of wild sunflowers in a wide area of the county due to heavy rains in early Sept.
