Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/03/2020

Number: 80

These were the one that came through our yard while we were grilling late in the afternoon. We only counted the monarchs that came through our yard. No photo.

We were watching for about 1 ½ to 2 hours. Just for a bit of a backstory, due to the Pandemic, I am currently working from Home and had noticed earlier last week that every time I would look out my home office window, I would usually catch a view of a Monarch flying bye. So when I had my wife and daughter outside with me, we kept our eyes peeled for a Monarch Treasure Hunt, as my 3 year old would say. The fascinating thing that I have noticed is that every Monarch that we counted were on the exact same path, given a 2 foot radius, whether it was the very first or the last.
