A co-worker in Alpine, TX (25 miles away) texted that Monarchs were streaming across his backyard. Throughout the day, he counted 100. With that information, I went outside in Fort Davis and counted 13 in flight just above tree height. Then, later in the evening 3 were roosting in the yard.
