Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/27/2020

Number: 1

We saw our last hummingbird of the season today, a probable immature female. The fat little bird sipped numerous times from our feeders, and we have not seen her since. In addition to our last hummingbird, we also hosted a Cape May warbler today, which was a life bird for us. We had a pretty decent run this year starting when we saw our first hummer of the year, a mature male, on April 14th, which was our earliest sighting to date. We saw as many as three birds on a given day throughout the season, and probably had more. Save travels little bird, and we look forward to seeing you next spring.
