I saw a Monarch on her chrysalis shortly after eclosing outside. I watched her fly a few feet and land on the ground. I picked her up, tagged her, and placed her in a habitat. After a few hours, I placed her on a flower. She stayed long enough for a picture, then flew away. Happy ending!
