The ash trees are losing their leaves at a rate that makes it look like it is raining. The other hardwoods we have (maple, tulip, japanese lilac etc.,) have all lost their leaves also. One light frost killed off most of the perennials but we still have some flowering aster, snapdragon, and phlox.
