it was so unusual I wanted to report it, the weather the last 3-4 days had been nice with warm temps in the upper 60s to low 70s...we were kayaking (hence no pic) exploring the area, I saw at what I first thought was a falling leaf...then realized it was not falling but fluttering! Surprised that it was a Monarch and I called to my partner & she saw it as well...flying on a SE course, cloudless day, temp around 71 F
