Our zinnias and anise hyssop were visited by this hummingbird on several occasions this summer. This was the only photo I was able to take.
They visited in the summer of 2019 also and in the winter of 2019 I found their nest at the base of a sweetgum tree in our front yard. There were some clues that lead me to believe the hummingbirds ate the monarch larva in the yard.
