Imagine my surprise when at a stoplight this morning around 10:30 in downtown Jonesborough, Tennessee I saw a monarch casually flying across the road and right in front of my windshield. NO! it was not a leaf :) I haven't seen one in quite some time and figured I'd seen my last for the year. It was a delightful surprise.
