My husband and I were in the kitchen and heard what we're pretty sure was a hummingbird outside the window where our feeder hangs into October. Is it possible that there are still stragglers on November 9 in our area?

I rushed out with a quickly mixed sugar solution just in case...

How could he survive with no flowers around and no feeders?
