Out of 4 caterpillars I brought in from my garden, this is the first to emerge--a healthy female. I released her the next dat, 11/8/20, and she immediately flew south, although I placed her on some blooming milkweed. I did not spot her again. Temps are in the low 70 to 80's range, above freezing nighttime temps.
