The 2nd of 4 caterpillars to emerge, a very active male. I usually give a monarch 24 hrs. before releasing, but this guy was beating against the aquarium sides in only 4 hours wanting out. He flew westerly, but perhaps the strong southwesterly wind blew him that way. I did see him land in an oak tree across the street, but he didn't return to nectar that I saw.
